Salary: M1-UP3, depending on experience

The Role:
The role involves coordinating SEND provision, maintaining accurate records, analysing assessment data, and advising staff on inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies. The SENCO will work closely with pupils, parents/carers, external agencies and the local authority to secure appropriate support, including contributing to EHCP processes and ensuring smooth transitions.
As a member of the senior leadership team, the SENCO will support staff development through training and guidance, lead and manage teaching assistants, and promote an inclusive ethos in line with the Equality Act 2010. The role also includes a strong safeguarding focus, working closely with the DSL to support the welfare of pupils with SEND.
