Post Title: Finance Assistant
Salary Grade: Depending on experience; Level 3 Grade 14-18 or Level 4 Grade 19-22
Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week Inset days and 3 extra working weeks during school holidays, 1 year Fixed Term Contract
Responsible to: Trust Business Manager
Purpose of post: The main purpose of this role will be to support the Finance Department in the provision of a high quality, efficient day-to-day Finance service for the Academy. The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience gained within a fast-moving environment, an understanding of basic accounting principles and previous experience of working in a busy finance department would be an advantage, an understanding of school systems would be desirable. This is a very customer focused role and as such requires excellent communication and organizational skills. This role would suit an individual wishing to start a career in the Finance field.
